About Alycrafts...

Hello, I'm Alyson, the face behind Alycrafts.

After my husband and I sold our Bed & Breakfast business down here in sunny Paignton, Devon in March 2019, I finally had more time to progress my passion for crafting.

I had already found a love for stone art, and I continue to make my mandalas today (my hand held pocket mandalas are popular and available here, as well as one-off pieces from time to time).

I then started jewellery making, just as a hobby to start with but there are only so many necklaces and bracelets a girl can need for herself!

So I set my creative brain thinking of other things I could make involving my love of beading and that is where I progressed into my other creations such as suncatchers, beaded glasses lanyards and my unique and very popular glass angels.

Initially, I started selling just by setting up a Facebook Group and selling on Marketplace.

My items proved popular and I received excellent feedback about the quality and value for money of my work so I took the plunge into the next phase of Alycrafts journey and here I am with my online store.  I also have a share of a little beach hut shop, Lollipops and Roses on Paignton seafront opposite the pier.  Pop in and say hello if you are in the area!
